Morrocan Slipper necklace

These were inspired by a trip to Morocco. This sterling silver slipper charm necklace comes with a single shoe or a double version like above and has gorgeous earrings to match.

I was inspired by the amount of traditional shoe shops there were dotted around Essaouira, about an hours drive from Marrakesh on the coast of Morocco. Its a beautiful white wash town a bit like Tarifa, Spain. There are hundreds of leather shoes hanging up outside the shops, with animal fur, tassels and decorations added. These are my interpretation of the Moroccan slipper. Traditionally these are made from leather with the toes curling up.
