Showcase Ireland, Design & Craft Council Ireland's film SÓ
This short film was commissioned and produced by The Design & Crafts Council of Ireland (DCCI) to create awareness and appreciation of luxurious Irish-made textiles, accessories and apparel.
Watch the short film SÓ (which means luxury in the Irish language) above. Its only 2mins long, but after watching it you will want to go to the west or south of Ireland! It captures the spirit of Ireland beautifully.
It was styled by the talented Paula Hughes and filmed by the infamous Boo George. It's a beautiful example of what Ireland has to offer.
All the clothes and jewellery in the shoot are from different designers that were selected for the Design Ireland section within Showcase Ireland 2020.
This picture below is a still from the film, at the bottom it mentions all the designers that had work shown in the film. My Granuaile sovereign ring from my latest collection is looking smart in silver. I love the pattern cut out on the shank of the ring.
